Who are we, and why Lopapeysa?
The story of Lopapeysa didn't start with a business plan, but with a deep passion for yarn and handicrafts. In 2022, we opened the doors to our small yarn oasis on the cozy Njalsgade 1 in Islands Brygge, Copenhagen S. The name "Lopapeysa" is a tribute to the iconic Icelandic sweater – a symbol of warmth, tradition, and the joy of creating something with one's own hands. It is precisely this feeling that we wish to share with you.
