Symfonie is made from laminated birch wood, making the needles from a strong and durable material that can withstand extensive use. Birch wood is also a lightweight material. The needles are therefore not heavy, which makes them easy to knit with for several hours at a time.

The needles are multi-coloured, as they are painted in a mix of yellow, green, red and blue hues, which also makes them beautiful to look at. The lacquered smooth surface makes the yarn and stitches glide easily and effortlessly on the needles.
